When Jason and I decided to get married, we quickly realized that a traditional wedding would be difficult on a shoestring budget. His mother generously offered the use of her home for our ceremony and reception.

My in-laws' yard is huge. It's a double lot in the city, with beautiful landscaping on which they've worked hard for ten years. There is a pond....
A flat, grassy area with rose bushes and other pretty flowers....
